What's it like to visit Sterling Vineyards, Calistoga California
In March 2024 I visited Sterling Vineyards. Although I've been traveling to the Napa and Sonoma area for more than 20 years, I'd never been here. I was greeted by something quite amazing. Quality of the experience was every bit equal to the top theme parks in the world, and the wines were also world-class as well. I highly recommend anyone stop by here and definitely plan to spend more than an hour!

Thank you! Mine was loaded with lint cleaned it out and it sounds almost brand new.
Yes indeed, seems that this is the case with many of them. Glad it helped!
Thanks
Thank you, i cleaned the fan and it sloved the problem for me.
Glad it worked!
Hello William. Great video but I don't see my problem I have 2 Vinotemp VT300SS dual zones. Both have the same problem. Top zones get cold and the bottom zones do not. Set for 50 and 55 respectively. Tops get there, bottom stays at 63 and 61. So continuously running. Lower fan is working on both units. I put frozen food packages next to all 4 thermostats and after a minute or so both units shut off. I bought both units (used) in February 2024 and they worked in the beginning. They were manufactured in 2017 (according to the stickers on the back of the units). Little by little the bottom of both starting to climb and now sit at the 63 and 61. I put thermometers in each zone and they agree approximately same 50/63, 50/61. Strange both units almost exactly the same time with same problem. I unplugged one of the units to see if the electric draw from same wall socket was too much. After 2 days, no difference on the plugged in unit. Can you help please? Thank you in advance, Jeff
Hmmm. That's very strange. If the compressor is constantly running, then I would think the innards would get very very cold. If not, then either there isn't enough refrigerant in the system so it's not cooling enough. Either that or you're effectively "leaking coolness" (heat leaking into the system), either because your environment is very hot, or because the gaskets aren't sealing well enough (the rubber around the doors). Here's a related question. Does the giant internal plate "evaporator coil" inside getting so cold that it ices up? If so, then your gaskets aren't sealing and that's the problem.
@@WilliamBennerJr Hi William. Thank you for replying. I had an appliance guy come over. He said the compressor was no good or it lost freon. I'm confused. I set the top zone as low as it goes (40degrees) I stopped it at 46 because I still had wine in it and didn't want the wine to get that cold. It would have gotten colder. And the zones are not completely sealed from each other so the top cold air would come down to the lower zone. How can it get so cold with low freon or compressor bad? We did notice the bottom fan was not staying on. Only short burst on and off. Could it be the fan?, thermostat?, or temperature sensor? They want 1500.00 to replace the whole system for each unit. I'm not convinced the compressor is bad. What do you think? Again, both units have the same problem. Strange. The units are about 4-5 years old. Thank you in advance, Jeff
This was 1 of 2 videos that helped me. so perfect for me. 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks i thought i was going to have to junk this expensive dryer or pay someone else to tell me its the motor and never comeback again. A big sock was stuck in that blower fan thingy. there wss at least 3 more socks change art supplies smh smh. Now its purring like a kitty.❤
WOW a big sock! They'll try to escape in any way possible!
I noticed my bottom part of window silver molding is detaching hopefully if i fix it, it'll.stop wind noise.
Fingers crossed!
I had just cleaned lint out as well and that’s when the vibration started. Loose lint stuck in blades!! Thanks for saving me from a service call and repair!! $$$ saved!
Glad it helped!
Watched many videos over the years, and your instructions were so straightforward and right on! My issue was lint in the flywheel, so I didn't need to purchase anything, but wouldn't have had such an easy time fixing this without people like you taking the time to post videos like this. Much appreciated!! Thank you!
Glad it was of use to you!
I never leave comments but you explained everything very clearly. I was able to follow your directions and remove a stuck cloth.
WOW, that's the first time I've ever heard of a cloth. I guess it got past the lint filter.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for taking the time to share it!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Conan O Brian.
Thank you! I just fixed the same issue! Great video!!
You're welcome!
Man I had a basket ball of lint I was about to go to Lowes saw 2 videos you broke it down so easy fixed it in 25 minutes just with a Shop Vacuum..saved $700+ Thank you!!!
Cool!
Man I really appreciate your video
Thanks for the kudos!
Wow. I think this video hit our problem on the nose. I think I can handle this repair. Sounds considerably easier than replacing all the rollers and the pulley.
I'm sure you can handle it. So many others have...
You can get the same sensation in some cars by rolling down just 1 window a little. It's like a pressure to a slight vacuum in your ears. My Model 3 Tesla doesn't do this, but I heard the Ys do.
It's a bit of a different feeling. The "windows down" creates a Helmholtz Resonance. The buffeting being discussed here is a compression effect, that will change frequency and amplitude, based on what the car is rolling over on the road.

Thanks so much for this video. I thought I was going crazy with the oscillating pressure I was feeling on my ears. This makes perfect sense. Thanks again!
You are so welcome!
thank you so much for your useful idea
You are most welcome
This video allowed me to fix my dryer…. It was full of lint and it was all jammed in… All I had to do was follow your instructions and clean it out. Put it back together and now it’s as quiet as the day we bought it. Thank you so much for sharing this video.
Glad it helped
This was super helpful! Got my dryer fixed in just 15 minutes!!
Great to hear!
Thank you Sir.
You are most welcome
Worked like a charm. Spot on and saved me going to some appliance repair guy! Thanks!!!!
Glad it helped
This veidao was created 5 years ago, and the problem is still present on the MY 2024.. just unbelieavable that Tesla did not offer a solution for a problem like that one!
Actually the air suspension really helps. Newer model cars are much less of a problem. Nevertheless this affects all hatchbacks where the hatch is really horizontal. For SUVs that have a hatch, but the hatch is mostly vertical, this is not an issue.
I have a ring video door bell do you have any suggestions for one of that my door swing out ward can you tell me how t make one for doors swinging out ward or make a video
I have many Ring products myself as well. Generally the Ring products are more flexible in some ways, but they also typically use screws as an attachment means.
does it basically sound like an acoustic bass tone?
So many tones are available. I can't say it's purely like an acoustic because there are several switch position, several tone controls, etc. A lot to play with actually. Maybe too much. I must say, I just leave the tone control on my Fender "wide open". May as well only have a volume control, but that's just me ;-)
Part number !?
It varies by drier, but Appliance Parts Pros dot com does have a search facility.
By any chance are you familiar with Conan O’Brien?
Yes, in my medical computer days people told me that all the time.
Thank you for taking the time to do the video. Very helpful, especially the part about using impact. In our case two of the fins in the wheel were cracked/broken creating out of balance. Thank you again!
WOW that's something!
very helpful video! Thank you. Mine was just lint buildup as well.
Glad it helped!
Like a few other viewers, my issue was lint packed in the blades after the annual vent cleaning. Your video was a tremendous help. Thanks!!!
Great to hear!
Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. Mine ended up being the lint.
Hehe, yes, it seems from the comments, a lot of lint buildup lately...
Conan O’Brian does wine fridge repairs? Wow! Man of many skills!
Outstanding tutorial. Lint was built up and laying to one side of the blower. Saved me a service call $$$!
Yes another one with lint. Must be that time of the season...
Thanks for the video! Luckily it was only lint for my dryer, but I wouldn't know how to clean it without your help!
Glad I could help!
would have helped if you ran the dryer to hear the sound its making first. but thanks
Ummm. I did run the drier first, and even put a cup of water on top to visualize the disturbance...
Just to give a broader perspective: Same on Model Y production early 2024 in Germany. Crazy sounds. Nothing on Model 3.
As far as I know this affects all hatch backs, where the hatch has a very horizontal slope.
This happens to me on the tesla 3 which is not a hatchback. I think it's something about the pressure in the cabin.
Hmmm. I've not experienced it myself in a Model 3, but thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this thoughtful research and making it easy to understand for Tesla buyers. Someone bring issue this to @tesla @@Elon Musk’s attention. This isn’t an isolated case to dew buyers, there are thousands if not tens of thousands of examples. We’re not saying we bought lemons we just need our cars do be comfortable
I have 250 bottles of wine so 124 white and 126 red so i was thinking to buy 2 wine coolers one single zone for red wine and the other double zone temperature for white and some red wine so Which brands do you recommend from the best to the less favorite wine cooler?????
Vinotemp seems overpriced to me, at least these days. The last few I purchased were just from Lowes and we're quite happy with them. Basically generic brands.
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
Solved my problem. Thanks for the video, my fan had lint and didn’t need replacing. Poor design or designed to purposely fail for a repair call.
Glad it helped
Dude! You need to shave your head and sport a goatee. You'd look like Brian Cranston "Walter White" from the Breaking Bad series. No joke! lol Anyone ever tell you that? Do it!
Hehe. Never heard of that.
I test drove the 2024 Model 3 and Model Y and I noticed this in the Model Y. People on the forum had no idea what I was talking about but this is it. This is why I was having a hard time picking the more practical Model Y.
Agreed. Model 3 *should* not have this problem, but I heard one person who seemed to experience the buffeting feeling.
I appreciate the teardown video. I would only say that it can be the blower and it can also be the rollers and pulley set inside. I think the issue is the fact that the lint catch is just badly designed on these Samsung dryers. Lint can fly like literally everywhere; it is bad at catching it. I found a bunch of junk in the blower area and cleaned it out. The noise got a bit better, but not fixed. I think the next thing is to get the replacement kit for the dryer belt, idler pulley and all that good stuff. I would not have known how easy it is to dive into the dryer if not for your video, so, thank you!
Glad it helped.
I will order the part and see if that helps. I did follow your instructions and cleaned out the wheel, which did help, but there is still some grumble. Thank you so much! *Excellent camera person as well!
Thanks. My son ran the video departments in both high school and college. He was on camera (iPhone) that day...
Same issue here! Thanks for making this video.
You're welcome!
I bought model y 2022 and extremely disappointed from the noise:( how company could pass quality assurance have no idea. Driving on not ideal road makes me cry.😢
I can imagine!
Amazing my friend..I did exactly the same thing...et voilà fixed! Thanks à million...you saved me a.200$ service call
